Foundation Stage Here are some useful worksheets to encourage children to make decisions, think logically and learn but still have fun either on their own or with you.

KS1 English Children at this age love working with you to solve puzzles so that they feel  grown up but are learning at the same time. Perhaps Granny or an Aunt could help by doing these papers together!

KS2 English After Christmas lunch is the time for family games and quizzes. You will find some here but there are also many more on Parents in Touch.

KS3 English It is useful to keep young people occupied when you are busy so use a Word Search or a quiz. Older siblings can be encouraged to work with younger ones and have fun!

KS1 maths Here is some Christmas Fun maths. You could suggest a small reward for the winner! It is pantomime time so use Snow White to help consolidate maths.

KS3 maths Here are some holiday maths papers for all the family. Tricky numbers and Kenduko puzzles could keep the family occupied for ages!

Family Fun Children love showing visitors their tricks so use some of these ideas to entertain guests. Games and tricks are all that everyone needs after the turkey and Christmas Pudding!

Spelling There are some words which children find difficult to spell. Look at the Christmas list and use it as a game with the family to consolidate spellings and reading.

Topics There are Christmas Markets held throughout the world and some are very elaborate. Have you ever thought that there was a Mrs Claus? Enjoy your Christmas and learn about traditions in other countries.
