Terms of Use
SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR PARENTS
Membership of Parents in Touch is maintained by payment of a subscription which allows access to all available downloadable worksheets.
All subscriptions are for the use of the subscribing individual and their household using their registered email address and password. Sharing of accounts is not permitted. This user authority is for non-professional users for home use with their own family only. The subscriber undertakes to prevent their email address and password being used by other individuals and will take reasonable steps to ensure the email address and password is kept safe, for example by always logging out when using a shared computer. We operate a 'Reasonable Use' policy and reserve the right to monitor and restrict downloads to ensure fair usage both for our protection and to protect our users. Misuse of our system will result in termination of membership. Only one registration per person/household is permitted. The subscription excludes any separately chargeable items e.g. eBooks.
Subscriptions are for a period of one year or longer as stated at the time of payment and generally are non-refundable (see Refund Policy below.)
We reserve the right to change the price of the subscription, or offers, at any time. All transactions are performed in GB pounds (£). The price includes VAT where applicable. Please note that we do not issue receipts or VAT invoices - confirmation of payment is by email from PayPal.
Normally, access is provided immediately following completion of the on-line payment process. However, it is possible that in some circumstances, for technical or other reasons, a delay may be experienced.
Whereas a personal subscription is designed for parents at home and does not permit use within schools, by private tutors or in other organisations, a subscription for teachers is separately available. The Teacher Subscription offers no advantage to a parent.
We reserve the right to suspend any subscription where unauthorised use occurs e.g. if parent subscribers use or appear to use the resources professionally.
TEACHER SUBSCRIPTION
The Teacher Subscription allows you, as an education professional, to use the resources in school and with your own children at home.
The Teacher Subscription allows photocopying of worksheets for use in school but the copyright notices must remain intact at all times. Most worksheets are in .pdf format and they must be retained and used in that format. It does not permit distribution through school websites. The permission to use expires when the teacher subscription is terminated. This permission does not extend to our eBooks, which are marketed separately.
The term 'teacher' covers everyone using the site in a professional teaching capacity (whether paid or unpaid) e.g. TAs, childminders, tutors etc. (Home educators are encouraged to subscribe as a parent as a teacher subscription offers no advantage to them.) Schools subscribing to the site are required to hold a teacher subscription.
RECURRING PAYMENTS - ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS
By agreeing to pay by credit/debit card or by PayPal account for the annual subscription you are agreeing to allow PayPal to take subsequent annual subscription payments automatically without further notification. Generally, we do not cancel on your behalf - cancellation is the subscriber's responsibility.
CANCELLATION OF SUBSCRIPTION - PAYPAL
Use your PayPal account to cancel your recurring annual payment.
If you would like to cancel your Subscription, log in to your PayPal account. Click on ‘Activity' and select a payment to Parents in Touch. With the payment expanded detail there is an option to manage payments. Selecting this offers the option to change the status from Active to Cancel.
Cancelling your Subscription will stop all future scheduled payments. However, your membership of Parents in Touch will continue up to the subscription anniversary date.
