SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR PARENTS
Membership of Parents in Touch is maintained by payment of a subscription which allows access to all available downloadable worksheets.
All subscriptions are for the use of the subscribing individual and their household using their registered email address and password. Sharing of accounts is not permitted. This user authority is for non-professional users for home use with their own family only. The subscriber undertakes to prevent their email address and password being used by other individuals and will take reasonable steps to ensure the email address and password is kept safe, for example by always logging out when using a shared computer. We operate a 'Reasonable Use' policy and reserve the right to monitor and restrict downloads to ensure fair usage both for our protection and to protect our users. Misuse of our system will result in termination of membership. Only one registration per person/household is permitted. The subscription excludes any separately chargable items e.g. eBooks.
Subscriptions are for a period of one year or longer as stated at the time of payment and generally are non-refundable (see Refund Policy below.)
We reserve the right to change the price of the subscription, or offers, at any time. All transactions are performed in GB pounds (£). The price includes VAT where applicable. Please note that we do not issue receipts or VAT invoices - confirmation of payment is by email from PayPal.
Normally, access is provided immediately following completion of the on-line payment process. However, it is possible that in some circumstances, for technical or other reasons, a delay may be experienced.
Whereas a personal subscription is designed for parents at home and does not permit use within schools, by private tutors or in other organisations a subscription for teachers is separately available. The Teacher Subscription offers no advantage to a parent.
We reserve the right to suspend any subscription where unauthorised use occurs e.g. if parent subscribers use or appear to use the resources professionally.
The Teacher Subscription allows you, as an education professional, to view or download up to 250 worksheets per year and use the resources in school and at home with your own children.
The Teacher Subscription allows photocopying of worksheets for use in school but the copyright notices must remain intact at all times. Most worksheets are in .pdf format and they must be retained and used in that format. It does not permit distribution through school websites. The permission to use expires when the teacher subscription is terminated. This permission does not extend to our eBooks, which are marketed separately.
Viewing a document counts towards your download limit, as once viewed it can be saved or printed by you. We recommend that you immediately save any viewed documents to your own computer because downloading the same worksheet again will count against your download limit. The term 'teacher' covers everyone using the site in a professional teaching capacity (whether paid or unpaid) e.g. TAs, childminders, tutors etc. (Home educators are encouraged to subscribe as a parent as a teacher subscription offers no advantage to them.) Schools subscribing to the site are required to hold a teacher subscription. Anyone registering as a teacher will only be able to hold a teacher subscription, unless a change is agreed by us.
If you register using a school email address (or other professional address e.g. tutoring agency, nursery, childminder etc) your subscription will be deemed to be that of a teacher and a download limit of 250 will be applied unless you contact us to request otherwise prior to subscribing - any change will be at our discretion. If you initially register as a teacher or with a school email address, then re-register as a parent with a different email address, we reserve the right to impose a download limit of 250 on your subscription unless you contact us prior to subscribing and we agree to allowing a parent subscription before you pay.
eBooks are for home use by the purchasing individual only. If you wish to use eBooks in schools or for other professional use, please contact us.
ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION UPGRADE
If you need more worksheets than your annual subscription allows you can buy a discounted upgrade which will allow more worksheets to be downloaded. The upgrade is available by clicking on 'Subscribe' after logging in. The balance of your download allowance is preserved across the annual subscription renewal date as long as your annual subscription is renewed.
SALE OF DIGITAL SERVICES TO EU CONSUMERS
We sell digital services (downloadable documents) to consumers in EU countries. We are obliged by EU regulation to account for the appropriate VAT rate prevailing in the country location of the consumer. Hence, we reserve the right to charge different prices for our digital products dependent on the consumer's location. Special subscription offers and the standard Teacher subscription are not available to residents of EU countries other than the UK; the full price subscription will be charged.
We use the term 'worksheet' as a generic term to cover all the downloadable resources available on Parents in Touch. This includes fact and information sheets, links to recommended online resources, software and books.
Opening or viewing a worksheet (or other resource) is counted as a download, whether you choose to save the worksheet or not, this is because the worksheet needs to be downloaded to view it. If you view or download the same worksheet a number of times, in different sessions, this will count against your download limit. We advise you to save the downloads to an easily accessible location on your computer if you wish to view them again at a later date.
All the downloadable resources on www.parentsintouch.co.uk are accessible through the Worksheet Finder. We are constantly upgrading and improving the site and content may be removed at any time. We cannot guarantee that every resource will always remain available.

Saver (3 Yr) PAYMENT AND SPECIAL OFFERS
The Saver three year payment (no longer offered) is a one-off payment. You will receive a reminder from us at the end of the three years, inviting you to re-subscribe.
Discount codes, which we offer periodically, must be used at the time of purchase. The discount cannot be applied retrospectively.
EU regulation states that customers have the right to cancel a purchase within 7 days with the exception of services that start before this cooling off period. Membership of Parents in Touch is a service which provides immediate access to all on-line content so you are not entitled to a refund after the service has started. Hence, before paying, please ensure you are satisfied with the type of content offered by membership. Refunds cannot be made when recurring subscriptions are paid in accordance with the agreement you set up with PayPal/WorldPay.
The administrative cost of refunding, which would be passed to you, is higher than the cost of the subscription. We do not refund unused years of membership where you have taken up a special offer to pay for multiple years.
Notwithstanding, refunds may be considered at the discretion of Parents in Touch where a customer was unable to receive the service for technical or other reasons.
By registering your email address with Parents in Touch you agree to receive regular Newsletters providing updates on new content. You must be over 18 to register your details with us. We never share email addresses with third parties.
You may opt out of this service at any time by clicking on the Unsubscribe or Opt-out link in the Newsletter. Please allow 14 days for your request to be actioned.
