Games for a Car Journey
Car journeys can be boring for both children and adults, but you can turn them in to an opportunity for some fun with these games. Some of the ideas in this worksheet will build on memory skills and are suitable for most ages.
Fun Holiday Games for the Family
These games are perfect for either playing at home or when you are away as you don't need anything or minimal items to play each one. All of the games can be played in small or large groups so they work well from small families to large groups of friends.
Thinking Skills For All
The summer holiday can be a long break from school so keep young minds ticking over with fun thinking games. These thinking skill games are aimed at older children and you can enjoy doing them along with your child.
Thinking Power Fun
Answer all of the questions on this worksheet to find the answers that fit in the crossword. Once this has been completed, you could challenge your child to make their own crossword and questions. Answers are included.
Research Project on the UK
Older children may prefer to have more of a focus during the summer holiday. By taking part in a project they can continue to work on it when it suits them and they can research things that interest them, rather than be told what to do. This worksheet gives an idea of the kind of project that could be done.
We continually review the best new books published. Shown below are three great books to develop thinking skills. Click on the image to find out more about them.
